Dosage and administration
Paracetamol Atb suppositories are administered intrarectally. Suppositories must be administered whole. Dividing the suppositories before use is not recommended.
Given that the recommended dose for children under 6 months of age is lower than the amount of active substance contained in Paracetamol Atb 125 mg suppositories, appropriate pharmaceutical forms with corresponding concentrations should be used for this age group.
Children aged between 6 and 12 months (7-10 kg)
The recommended dose is 125 mg paracetamol (one Paracetamol Atb 125 mg suppository) 1 - 4 times a day.
Interval between administrations: 4 - 6 hours
Maximum daily dose: 500 mg paracetamol (4 Paracetamol Atb 125 mg suppositories)
Children aged between 1 and 3 years (10-15 kg)
