This coffee comes from Kateshi Estate, one of the first coffee plantations in Zambia, founded in 1972. It is known not only for the quality of its coffee but also for its commitment to the local community – it provides daily access to drinking water for over 20,000 inhabitants, supports three schools with over 1,500 students, and operates a medical clinic that offers free services to over 4,000 community members.

Located at an altitude of approximately 1300 meters, the farm benefits from ideal conditions for coffee cultivation, with rich volcanic soils and a favorable climate.

In the cup, we noted hints of cocoa, a sweetness reminiscent of ripe sour cherries, and a pleasant creaminess, like mascarpone. It has a velvety, medium to full body and a pleasant acidity.

We especially recommend it for espresso, for those looking for a coffee with personality.
