Pike Roe comes from fish of the Esox Lucius family caught both from import (Finland and Canada) and from our own farm located in Sulina, Maritime Basin, Tulcea County.

The roe grains have a golden-yellow color, uniform size with a clean surface, without impurities or foreign bodies, a homogeneous, elastic consistency, and a specific smell.

How to use

Pike Roe is consumed as is or on bread with butter or in a salad with a high nutritional value and brings many benefits to our body.

It contains a lot of vitamins D, B12, retinol, riboflavin, zinc, phosphorus, and potassium.

Consuming roe protects the body from heart disease, Alzheimer's, depression, cancer, arthritis, or skin aging.

SC Delta Fish Distribution 2003 SRL is a company with entirely Romanian capital, founded in 2003 out of passion for fish farming, as a family business. The company owns a fish processing factory in Bucharest and a fish farm in the city of Sulina, Tulcea county, at the mouth of the Danube into the Black Sea.

At the working point in Bucharest it produces a wide range of high-quality fish products. Their range consists of packaged and fresh natural roe, roe and fish preserves, frozen fish assortments, and roe salads.

The products are 100% natural and are aimed at customers who appreciate quality. The production is carried out by a team of professionals with whom they have collaborated since the foundation of the company.

At the working point in Sulina valuable fish are grown from an economic point of view from the species of sturgeon, Romanian catfish, pike perch, and carp. The fish are raised in a natural environment, in floating cages installed at the mouth of the Danube into the Black Sea. They are fed both with small fish caught in the open sea and with protein food.

The fish farm in Sulina produces part of the raw material needed for the factory in Bucharest. The entire activity is carried out out of passion for the fish farming sector with a strong focus on quality, the high needs of customers, environmental protection, ecosystems, and sustainability.
