Precautions

Tell your doctor or pharmacist before taking Baneocin ointment:

- If you have liver or kidney conditions (hepatic or renal insufficiency). Also, please monitor for any signs that may indicate kidney damage (loss of appetite, excessive thirst, reduced urine output, traces of blood in urine) or hearing impairment (loss of high-frequency hearing, noises and a feeling of pressure in the ears).

- in long-term middle ear inflammations (otitis media), Baneocin ointment should only be applied to the ear under medical recommendation.

- When using doses higher than recommended, especially in the treatment of varicose ulcers. If large quantities of this medicine are absorbed through the skin, there is a risk of muscle weakness. If you already have muscle weakness (for example, if you have myasthenia gravis or a similar condition), your condition may worsen.

- Prolonged use of antibiotics can lead to the emergence of resistant bacteria.

- Please monitor for signs of inflammation (warmth, redness, swelling, pain) or fungal infection appearing in the treated lesions.

Tell your doctor about these or any other unusual changes you notice.

Special warnings.
