BioGaia Protectis Baby Drops with Vitamin D are a food supplement containing the patented lactic acid bacteria, Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis (DSM 17938), which have proven their effectiveness in increasing the number of natural bacteria in the gut. Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis have been tested in over 135 clinical trials, which confirmed that they are safe for administration to infants and children. BioGaia Protectis Baby Drops with Vitamin D contain 10 μg of Vitamin D3. In children, vitamin D is necessary for the growth and development of bones and the normal functioning of the immune system, as confirmed by the European Food Safety Authority and approved by the European Commission.

Method of administration
5 drops/day, in a single dose.
One dose provides at least 100 million live lactic acid bacteria L. reuteri Protectis and 400 I.U. vitamin D3, which represents 200% of the Nutritional Reference Value, according to EU Regulation 1169/2011.
Can be consumed by children from the first days of life.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Shake well for 10 seconds before each use to combine the bacterial cultures with the oil. The drops can be consumed as such, in a spoon, or in drinks or food.
Do not add to hot drinks or food to avoid affecting the live lactobacilli cultures. BioGaia ProTectis with vitamin D3, drops for children, does not change the taste of the drinks or food with which they are mixed.
