Fairtrade means that, in underdeveloped or developing countries from where raw materials are sourced, Lemonaid & ChariTea supports trade based on transparency and equality, fair prices and decent working conditions, provided to partners through investments. Thus, with each bottle purchased, 5 euro cents are directed by the Lemonaid & ChariTea foundation to a variety of projects designed to improve the social, economic and ecological conditions of the communities they work with in these growing regions. Not many companies support social projects from their own profit. Since 2010, the foundation has raised over £7,000,000 to support these social projects.
