About the producer

Nucet products belong to the dairy producer Erbalact, a Romanian producer whose values are: respect for the tradition of preparations in an authentic Romanian spirit and a penchant for innovation that ensures the quality and safety of products made according to old Romanian recipes, in the most modern European conditions.

Erbalact, through the Nucet range of products, offers over 20 assortments of milk and dairy products, with a strong differentiator from all other products on the market: the recipes that form the basis of the products are inspired by the way dairy products were once made: with skill, in peace, from a lot of quality milk, produced on our own farms.

Our inspiration comes from the neighboring monastery, Nucet Monastery, from where we took the recipes for some specialties. The Nucet portfolio includes fresh pasteurized milk, cheese specialties (burduf, cheddar, fresh cheese, telemea), sana, yogurts, buttermilk, kefir, sour cream and butter.

Nucet dairy products are produced in the Erbalact factory - a greenfield investment established in 2013 - where the equipment for both processing and packaging meets all European quality standards. Fulfilling its promise of 100% Romanian-origin business, all production lines in this factory are also produced in Romania.

Certifications

Erbalact holds the ISO 22000 food quality and safety certifications obtained through TUV Austria and has implemented the HACCP system for quality assessment. These systems allow the company to periodically control and evaluate the safety of the manufactured products.
