Carob pulp powder has a color, taste and aroma similar to cocoa powder but a lower fat content and does not contain caffeine.
It also does not contain cholesterol and the sodium and potassium content is balanced. It has a high content of calcium and vitamin E. Carob powder has a very wide range of uses, being especially recommended for pastries and other food products. It has an emulsifying effect and can be combined with various other ingredients for more color and flavor.
