The history of Baci pralines begins in 1922 in the Perugia area, through the creation of Luisa Spagnoli. She created an iconic candy - using ground hazelnuts, a whole hazelnut, and covering this mix with a layer of dark chocolate. Individually wrapped, the pralines were also accompanied by a love note, meant to brighten the day of the person tasting it.
