Vegan Japanese-style breadcrumbs
Authentic Asian - Panko is a very crispy, coarser type of breadcrumbs. With ARCHE Panko, you can achieve a particularly airy crispy coating for vegetables, tofu, tempeh, fish, or meat. Tip: Panko gives gratins or stuffed vegetables a crispy crust.
Preparation method: Season tofu pieces to taste. Mix 1 tablespoon of flour with 3 tablespoons of water and a pinch of salt to obtain a smooth batter. Place the breadcrumbs on a large plate. Dip the tofu first in the batter, then in the breadcrumbs, and fry or pan-fry until crispy. Proceed similarly with vegetables, fish, or meat.
