Thyme honey is a type of bee honey obtained by mixing natural sunflower honey with fragrant thyme flowers.

This variety preserves the rich aroma of thyme flowers and will delight your taste buds with the harmonious blend of sunflower honey and the aromatic plant that has been macerated for 12 days.

Thyme honey is a raw and artisanal product sourced from an apiary in the Jijia Plain: Dobârceni commune, Botoșani county. Thus, the honey used is raw and not thermally processed to best preserve all its beneficial properties for our health.

Optimal storage temperature: 18-25 C. The legal shelf life of honey is 2 years, although it never truly expires. It is not recommended for infants, only for children over 1 year old.

Depending on the storage temperature, it may be found in a crystallized form. The crystallization process of honey is a natural process, specific to quality natural honey. It may contain traces of wax or propolis, as a result of its extraction from the honeycomb.

Benefits and properties: Stimulates blood circulation and has a mild aphrodisiac effect.

Thanks to the volatile oil in thyme flowers, it has beneficial effects on the respiratory tract, calming whooping cough and bronchitis.

Also noteworthy is the large amount of natural lecithin in sunflower honey.

It can be applied to the face and used as a face mask, due to the antibiotics it contains.

It can be used as a topping for pancakes, in your favorite cookies, cakes or ice cream, or as a natural sweetener for tea.

Additionally, it is recommended to consume 2 tablespoons of honey in the morning, on an empty stomach.
