Pure maple syrup is a 100% natural food, processed by thermal concentration of pure maple sap. This sap is a sterile, clear liquid that provides trees with water and nutrients before buds and leaves open in spring. During the boiling, concentration, and filtration processes, all nutrients remain in the syrup. It contains the minerals zinc, manganese, potassium, magnesium, iron, and calcium.
Grade B is produced later in the season and has a darker, more granular color, higher viscosity, a stronger maple flavor, and more minerals. Grade B has a strong maple flavor that lingers on the taste buds.
Recommended use: In any meal where you usually add sweetener. Perfect for pancakes.
