Colombia El Vergel Estate Decaf is the kind of coffee that makes you raise an eyebrow: “Are you sure it’s decaf?” Produced by the Bayter family in the Tolima region, this coffee brings a vibrant mix of passion fruit, cocoa nibs, and sweet oranges to your cup, with a round and velvety body.

What makes it special is the processing: carefully selected cherries, anaerobically fermented for up to 60 hours, then patiently dried. Decaffeination is done using ethyl acetate extracted from sugarcane, a technique that preserves the character of the beans.

The result is an expressive, well-defined coffee that performs impeccably in espresso and brew. No one would guess it’s decaf.
