About the producer

To the south of the Carpathian Mountains, along the 45th parallel, the famous wine parallel on which Piedmont or Bordeaux is also located, there is a place where spring is quite dry and autumn is sunny and long. In the center of the LacertA domain is the Dorobantu Mansion, the work of the architect Ion Mincu. Built in 1901 and renovated in 2005 according to the original plans,
the neo-Romanian architectural sample looks from above the surrounding hills, full of vines.

Any visit becomes a memorable experience, as the surrounding hills, rich in vines, offer a visual delight. The 82 hectares of vineyards that produce gold-medal winning wine at numerous international competitions, the architecture of the mansion and the 7000 years of wine history in this privileged area make LacertA an experience to be felt. And, as proof of the perfect symbiosis between mineral, plant and animal life, lizards make their way quickly on the brown soil, ideal for wine, and then sit and rest in the sunlit areas.
