PRIVACY POLICY – SEZAMO BARRIER-FREE

SEZAMO S.R.L., with registered office in Sat Ștefăneştii de Jos, Str. Linia de Centură nr. 5, unit J2, room C9.1F.26, Parc Ind. CT Park București Nord, ("we" or "us"), as a personal data controller, inform you, user of our website and client, about the processing of your personal data in connection with your membership and user of the Sezamo Barrier-Free service (" The Club").

In this policy you will learn:

  • what personal data we process;
  • for what purposes and how we process this data;
  • to whom the data may be transferred;
  • how long we keep the data; and
  • what rights you have in relation to the processing.

1. Scope of processing, purposes of processing, communication settings

1.1 When you register in the Club, the courier will ask you, during the first delivery, to confirm that you meet the membership conditions. You can do this by presenting your ID card or other document proving reduced mobility.

1.2 The courier will confirm to the customer service department that your eligibility is not possible. for the Club has been checked. The customer service department ticks the appropriate box in our system, and you can check the appropriate box. you can benefit from all the advantages of the Club.

1.3 For the purpose of joining the Club, we do not store any data from the submitted documents and do not process any personal data other than those necessary for purchases from our online store.

1.4 If you are a member of the Club, we may use your first name, last name, email address and telephone number to send you commercial communications by electronic means (e-mail, SMS) about the products and services we offer and which we think may be of interest to you. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the special link provided in all these emails, writing to clienti@sezamo.ro or dpo@sezamo.ro, calling our Customer Service Department on 0800 894 077 or in your user account settings.

We may also provide you with offers, news and information about discounts or other commercial communications by telephone (live calls), in which case we process your first name, last name and number. by phone.

Please inform us by post at our registered office, by e-mail at clienti@sezamo.ro or dpo@sezamo.ro, or by telephone at our Customer Service Department on 0800 894 077 if you do not wish to receive commercial communications by telephone or post.

1.5 If you give us consent to marketing on the website https://www.sezamo.ro/, we will also process the personal data you provide to us, including your purchase history, for the following purposes:

  • carrying out marketing analysis and statistics, including profiling; Profiling may involve analyzing purchasing behavior and preferences to personalize offers and communications. No automated decisions with legal or significant effects are made solely on the basis of profiling.
  • sending commercial communications relating to our products and services and those of our partners, tailored to your purchases and preferences; and
  • the use of personal data provided by Facebook if you log in via this social network, to the extent permitted by your settings, for the purposes mentioned above.

The granting of this consent is voluntary; is not required by law and does not affect your quality. as a member of the Club.

1.6 You can manage your consent and choose how we can contact you, as well as the topics that interest you, in  the "Communication Settings" section of your account. by the user.

Data minimization

In accordance with Article 5(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we ensure that the personal data we collect and process is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is processed. We do not collect data that is not necessary for club membership, provision of services or marketing communications (if you give your consent). For example, during eligibility verification, we do not store or record data from documents submitted to couriers. All data fields in our systems are regularly reviewed to ensure that they remain necessary and proportionate.

Facts about children

Sezamo Barrier-Free is intended exclusively for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect, process or store personal data relating to children. If we learn that a child's personal data has been collected in error, we will take immediate steps to delete that data, unless we are required by law to retain it. Parents or guardians who believe they may have collected data about a child may contact us at dpo@sezamo.ro  to request deletion or additional information.

2. Who has access to your data Personal

2.1 As a controller, we process your personal data ourselves. personal information. We only disclose it to authorised employees, contracted processors or, as the case may be, to other controllers, always only to the extent necessary and on a valid legal basis.

2.2 We are part of Rohlik Group, led by Rohlik Group a. s., with its registered office at Karolinská 654/2, Karlín, 186 00 Prague 8, Czech Republic (the 'Group'). Data may be shared within the Group, which is wholly based in the EU, for internal administrative and operational purposes on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) and recital 48 of the GDPR).

2.3 We do not transfer your personal data outside the EU/EEA. Should such transfers become necessary, we will ensure that adequate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses approved by Romanian and European law in force

3. Retention period

3.1 We process personal data obtained in connection with your capacity. as a member of the Club for as long as you remain a member and thereafter for the period necessary to protect our legitimate interests (for example, to demonstrate the right of access to the benefits of the Club), but not longer than four years.

3.2 Personal data processed on the basis of your consent is processed until the withdrawal of consent. To withdraw your consent, please email clienti@sezamo.ro or call our Customer Service Department on 0800 894 077.

4. Your rights

In connection with the processing of your data. In particular, you have the following rights:

  • Right to information
  • the right of access;
  • the right to rectification;
  • the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
  • the right to restriction of processing;
  • the right to object; and
  • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
