Fresh Lemongrass

A plant used in cooking, especially in Asian cuisine, but also used in the pharmaceutical industry due to its healing properties. Lemongrass has a high iron content, a single teaspoon of lemongrass contains 4 milligrams of iron.

Use:
It is used to flavor culinary preparations, can be added to roasts, sauces or cream soups. After cooking, lemongrass leaves can be removed like bay leaves, which are used to season or add extra flavor to the food. Also, dried lemongrass can be ground and used as a condiment.
