Description
Composition.
The active substance is nicotine. The other components are: core - Quinoline yellow E 104 Al-lac, gum base, xylitol, peppermint oil, anhydrous sodium carbonate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, acesulfame potassium, levomenthol, light magnesium oxide; film: Quinoline yellow E 104 Al-lac, Tutti-frutti QL84441, hypromellose, sucralose, polysorbate 80, outer coating layer - xylitol, Acacia, titanium dioxide, carnauba wax, Tutti-frutti QL84441.
Therapeutic indications.
Nicorette Freshfruit is used in the treatment of nicotine dependence by satisfying the excessive craving for nicotine and the withdrawal symptoms that appear after quitting smoking:
- curing smoking dependence for smokers who want to quit smoking;
- helping smokers with temporary abstinence during periods when cigarette consumption is impossible or undesirable;
- helping to reduce cigarette consumption for smokers who cannot or do not wish to quit smoking.
Dosage and administration.
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Each medicated gum should be chewed slowly for approximately 30 minutes, with breaks. Nicotine administration should be temporarily stopped if any symptoms of nicotine overdose appear.
If symptoms of nicotine overdose persist, nicotine use should be reduced either by decreasing the frequency of administration or by using a lower concentration.
The medicated chewing gum should not be administered to persons under 18 years of age without a doctor's recommendation. There are no controlled clinical data to support the administration of medicated chewing gum to adolescents under 18 years of age.
