Composition.
The active substances are: gentian extract (root), verbena (herb), sorrel (herb), elder (flower), cowslip (flower with calyx). The other components are: Core: potato starch, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, gelatin, sorbitol, stearic acid; Excipients for coating: calcium carbonate, liquid glucose (dry substance), indigo carmine aluminum lake (E 132), chlorophyll powder, magnesium oxide, corn starch, dextrin, montanglycol wax, basic butylated methacrylate copolymer, riboflavin (E 101), refined castor oil, sucrose, shellac, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171).
Therapeutic indications.
Sinupret Syrup is a herbal medicine used in the treatment of acute and chronic inflammations of the paranasal sinus mucosa. It is indicated for children aged 6 years and older, adolescents and adults.
Dosage and administration.
Always take this medicine according to the instructions in the leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dose is:
Children aged between 6 and 11 years - 1 coated tablet 3 times a day
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over - 2 coated tablets 3 times a day
The coated tablets should be swallowed whole, with a quantity of liquid. Sinupret can be administered during meals, with a quantity of liquid, or independently of meals. If you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take Sinupret after meals.
Precautions.
Please consult a doctor if symptoms last longer than 7-14 days or recur periodically.
In patients with gastritis or sensitive stomachs, this medicine should be taken with great caution. It is preferable to take Sinupret coated tablets after meals and with a glass of water.
Special warnings.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Sinupret coated tablets should not be administered during pregnancy and breastfeeding except after a strict risk-benefit assessment by your doctor.
Driving vehicles and operating machinery
No special precautions are necessary.
Packaging. Sinupret coated tablets are available in boxes with blisters containing 50 coated tablets
