CAL-C-VITA 10 EFFERVESCENT TABLETS

Composition

One effervescent tablet contains ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 1000 mg, calcium 250 mg as calcium carbonate 625 mg, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) 15 mg, cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) 300 IU as cholecalciferol concentrate 3 mg and excipients: anhydrous citric acid, sugar, sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium chloride, orange flavour PERMASEAL PHS-273330, mandarin flavour PERMASEAL 84279-B, aspartame, beta-carotene 1% CWS/M, betanin (E 162), povidone K 30, sugar fatty acid esters.

Therapeutic indications

Covering nutritional needs during periods of growth and development, during illness and convalescence, in the elderly, during periods of mental and physical effort, during periods of increased susceptibility to colds.

Increasing resistance to infections; in cases of rapid physical fatigue

Promoting the healing of wounds and fractures; preventing vitamin and calcium deficiency and osteoporosis.

Dosage and method of administration

One Cal-C-Vita effervescent tablet daily (or as recommended by your doctor). Dissolving the effervescent tablet in a glass of water produces a pleasant tasting drink. Follow the instructions in the package leaflet or the doctor's instructions. If you think the effect is too weak or, on the contrary, too strong, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

Cal-C-Vita should not be taken for long periods and in doses higher than recommended

Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if:

• You have any other condition;
• You suffer from any type of allergy;
• You are using any other medicines (including medicines that are available without a prescription).

One Cal-C-Vita effervescent tablet contains 227 mg of sodium. Therefore, it is not recommended for people on a low-sodium diet.

In diabetics, vitamin C can affect the dosage of urinary glucose, although blood glucose is not affected. Therefore, the administration of vitamin C should be discontinued a few days before these tests are performed. One effervescent tablet contains 429.7 mg of sugar.

Special warnings

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, fertility

Taking Cal-C-Vita during pregnancy can be beneficial. To date, there is no data on the risk of taking it during pregnancy and it seems unlikely that there could be a danger to the fetus. Similarly, Cal-C-Vita can be used during breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines

It has no influence on the ability to drive and use machines.
