Precautions:

- Body temperature exceeds 38ºC,
- You notice blood or mucus in the stool,
- Diarrhea persists for more than 2 days,
- You experience severe diarrhea associated with dehydration and weight loss,
- Diarrhea is accompanied by severe abdominal pain,
- You suffer from serious conditions (severe diseases that reduce immunity, heart failure, presence of a central venous catheter) and have diarrhea,
- You have compromised immunity (for example, HIV infection or are receiving immunosuppressive therapy);
- You suffer from conditions accompanied by disruption of the intestinal barrier (for example, short bowel syndrome).
