How does it work?
Under the influence of moisture and heat (as a result of the reaction between sodium bicarbonate and acid), the carbon dioxide necessary for leavening the dough is produced. Also, the separating agent prevents premature reaction of the ingredients (which can be caused, for example, by moisture in the air). No need to extinguish with vinegar!
