The Benedek family founded the meat processing company in 2008, which began operating under the trade name Benedek. The company's activity in the food sector was exceptional, in 2012, in a location that housed a slaughterhouse in Gheorgheni since 1977. Our tasty Székely Flat products have been manufactured in this location ever since. In addition to pork products (including the Mangalita breed), poultry, horse meat, sheep, beef and game specialties are also available. Because it is very important for us to maintain the health of our consumers and their families, we only manufacture products without additives or preservatives, using the traditional cold smoking method. We have always been attentive to meeting consumer expectations, complying with legal requirements, food safety, hygiene and environmental regulations, as well as ethical and moral standards that constitute a prerequisite for a successful activity.
