Our organic Black Tiger prawns come from a Naturland project in the mangrove forests of Vietnam. Here, sustainable forest management goes hand in hand with organic shrimp farming. The prawns are already deveined. The shell is pre-cut to make peeling easier after cooking.

Our organic Naturland prawns are kept in ponds in the mangrove forests, according to strict organic rules. To ensure that the surrounding habitat, important for many animals, is preserved and can even expand again, Naturland shrimp farmers are encouraged to take care of the valuable mangrove forests.

To ensure that the ecosystem in the shrimp ponds remains intact, the population density of the prawns is kept very low. This natural and rule-abiding way of life and production avoids the use of substances such as antibiotics.
