Uses:
Green onions can be cooked or used raw as part of salads, sauces, or Asian recipes, chopped into cubes they can be used in soups, noodles, and seafood dishes, sandwiches, curries, and as part of stir-fries. In China, green onions are commonly used together with ginger and garlic to cook a wide variety of vegetables and meats. The white part of the onion is usually fried with other ingredients, while the green part is usually chopped to garnish the finished dish.
