Lacerta Cuvee X is a dry white wine, sweet and nuanced. It is distinguished by an excellent blend, which brings together Chardonnay, Feteasca Alba, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Riesling grapes. The wine is complex, and that is because it borrows characteristics from all the varieties that make up its composition. In taste, the concentration is good, while the acidity gives that necessary dose of freshness. The taste is fresh and concentrated, revealing intense aromas of cantaloupe and peach.

Serving recommendations

To fully experience its intensely aromatic bouquet, enjoy the wine at 8-10°C, accompanied by fish or seafood dishes.

About the producer

To the south of the Carpathian Mountains, along the 45th parallel, the famous wine parallel on which Piedmont or Bordeaux is also located, there is a place where spring is quite dry, and autumn is sunny and long. It is a place where the fertile and clean soil is recognized by the small lizards that run everywhere.

In the center of the LacertA domain is the Dorobantu Mansion, the work of the architect Ion Mincu. Built in 1901 and renovated in 2005 according to the original plans,
the neo-Romanian architectural sample looks from above the surrounding hills, full of vines.
The welcoming grandeur of the mansion invites you to taste the noble wine, but also to admire from above one of the most beautiful wine domains. Any visit becomes a memorable experience, since the surrounding hills, rich in vines, offer a visual delight. The 82 hectares of vineyards that produce gold-medal-winning wine at numerous international competitions, the architecture of the mansion and the 7000 years of wine history in this privileged area make LacertA an experience that must be felt. And, as proof of the perfect symbiosis between mineral, plant and animal life, lizards make their way quickly on the brown soil, ideal for wine, and then sit and rest in the sunlit areas.
