A coffee different from others, coming from the northern region of the volcanic island of Bali in the Indonesian archipelago, where there are many citrus plantations, hence the delicious aroma of oranges and other fruits.
Here, in Bali, in the Kintamani area, on the slopes of Mount Batur, you will find the largest coffee producers, where all processes, from planting to harvesting, are carried out in a natural and traditional way.
How is it produced?
The red cherries are naturally processed. They are placed on raised and covered beds to dry naturally for 24 hours, then they are cleaned and soaked in water for another 24 hours. Later, they are washed to remove any remaining residue from processing.
The natural process gives it a delicate sweetness, resulting in an extremely complex range of aromas.
Its aroma of tropical fruits, strawberries, watermelon, flowers, and cocoa notes, along with its smooth taste and delicate texture, set it apart from what might otherwise be mistaken for an African coffee.
