Mirdatod Telemea de Ibanaesti fresh - PDO.

Fresh Telemea obtained from cow's milk. Telemea, no matter how we call it, in what language or dialect, no matter where it comes from or who makes it, is one of the best known dairy products.
Whether we are talking about the Greeks' Feta, the Turks' beyaz peynir or the Serbs' sir, Telemea respects to a large extent the manufacturing recipes inherited for hundreds of years.
However, Telemeaua de Ibanesti has its own particularities in this world that is more than rich in tastes and aromas of cheeses.
First of all, it is produced exclusively from milk collected from animal breeders in mountain areas, raised on the pastures of the Muresului and Gurghiului Valleys, fed with care for the taste of the milk.
Telemeaua de Ibanesti is not salted like other telemeles normally; it is brined in Orsova brine, naturally extracted from a spring used by the locals for dozens of generations to give taste to cheese or homemade dishes.
And for the picture to be complete and no one can question the quality or taste of Telemea de Ibanesti, it is the only product in Romania certified at the European Union level as a Protected Designation of Origin.
