These organic shrimps come from a Naturland project in Ecuador, where they are raised in certified pond systems and also protect the surrounding mangrove forests. The farms guarantee ideal growing conditions for the ecological cultivation of the shrimps.
It started in 2007. Jürg Knoll and Harri Butsch came to the conviction that industrial food production could not continue at this rate. So they decided to completely transform their business, relying exclusively on sustainable food and transparent processing methods.
It started with followfish, with the aim and vision of saving the seas. The mission struck a chord with many people and quickly made followfish the most successful brand of frozen fish. However, it also confirmed their determination to continue working on their visions of a better world. So it continued with followfood and the vision of saving the soils.
In the meantime, there are over 90 sustainable frozen, preserved and fresh products, as well as numerous ecological projects and activities.
Storage conditions
Store at a maximum of -18°C. Do not refreeze after thawing.
