Dicarbocalm with blackcurrant flavor is a medicine from the antacid group. The active substances contained in the oral suspension neutralize gastric acidity, alleviating symptoms caused by hyperacidity.

Ingredients:
aluminum hydroxide 351.9 mg in the form of hydrated aluminum oxide 460 mg/dried aluminum hydroxide gel, powder corresponding to 230.00 mg aluminum oxide, equivalent to aluminum oxide 230 mg, and magnesium hydroxide 400 mg.

Method of administration:
Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: the recommended dose is 1-2 sachets 1 hour after each main meal and in case of heartburn or pain. The maximum daily dose is 8 sachets.
In patients with mild to moderate renal (see also 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5) or hepatic insufficiency, and also in elderly patients, the daily dose should be halved (maximum 4 sachets per day).
The duration of treatment should not exceed 4 weeks without medical recommendation. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 7 days of continuous treatment, their etiology should be investigated and the therapeutic approach re-evaluated.
