Minced meat mixed with salt, spices and aromas, then packed in natural or synthetic intestines. Then dried in a room with controlled temperature and humidity until the moment of correct maturation. The product has a typical gray-green matrix on the surface which is brushed at the time of sale. When you cut the product, you can see the vibration of the colors of the 4 types of pepper.
Recommendation for consumption
As an appetizer: it is recommended to taste with a strong red wine, on a cutting board, accompanied by cheeses and fruits.
As a sandwich: perfect for filling a sandwich.

About the company:
It all started in 1925, from a small dairy factory in the old town of Siena. Since then, for the locals, the name Morbidi has become synonymous with "eating well". Over the years, the Morbidi family has always been able to innovate and rise to the challenges, and in the 1940s, we started working with pork, followed by sheep's milk, in accordance with the oldest local traditions. Over the generations, we have grown into a modern business, with a keen eye for sustainability and a short supply chain, but we have never forgotten where we started: in a wonderful place that remains ready to welcome anyone passing through the heart of Siena.
