About the producer

The Benedek family founded their meat processing enterprise in 2008, which began operating under the trade name Benedek. The company's activity in the food sector was exceptional, in 2012, in a location that housed a slaughterhouse in Gheorgheni since 1977. Our delicious Székely Flat products have been manufactured in this location ever since. In addition to pork products (including the Mangalica breed), poultry, horse meat, sheep, beef and game specialties are also available. Because it is very important for us to maintain the health of our consumers and their families, we only manufacture products without additives or preservatives, using the traditional method of cold smoking. We have always been careful to meet consumer expectations, comply with legal requirements, food safety regulations, hygiene and the environment, as well as the ethical and moral standards that are prerequisites for a successful business. Our company also guarantees consumer confidence through quality assurance systems and food safety standards used throughout Europe.
