About the manufacturer
Schachinger was founded in 1932 as a butcher shop specializing in pork lard, spreads, and cracklings. In the late 1980s, Otto Schachinger, a third-generation family member, decided to establish these products as an independent business, creating a company specializing in lard and cracklings. Since the mid-2000s, the company has been exporting its products, made from carefully processed pork fat, without preservatives. Thanks to strict quality standards, the company obtained IFS certification in 2008 and successfully established itself on the EU market.
