Slight surface defects of citrus fruits are caused by weather and whipping of twigs during fruit growth. However, this has no effect on the taste and quality of the pulp, as well as the slight deformation of the fruit, which is allowed for this variety.
The peel is not intended for consumption!
Usage:
Lemons have endless uses in cooking recipes. Some vegetable, fruit or meat salads, sauces, legumes, ice cream and cocktails are not without lemon. The peel is added to desserts, Christmas cookies, cakes or creams. Lemon is also an integral part of meat dishes. Roasted or grilled meat is often served sprinkled with lemon or at least with a slice of lemon on top.
