Preparation method

Wash the ginger and turmeric thoroughly. If you are using a cold-press juicer, it is not necessary to peel them, but you can finely grate them if you prefer.

Extract the juice from the ginger, turmeric, and garlic clove using a juicer. If you don't have a juicer, grate them finely and squeeze the pulp through a clean cheesecloth.

Mix the obtained juice with the freshly squeezed juice from the two lemons and add a pinch of freshly ground black pepper (piperine helps with the absorption of curcumin from turmeric).
Chef's tip
If the taste is too intense, you can dilute the shot with a little still water or add a teaspoon of honey.
