Kent mangoes are among the tastiest. The skin is predominantly green, with shades of orange, yellow, or red, while the delicious flesh is yellow-orange.
Mango trees are native to India. Today, however, mangoes are grown and harvested in almost all tropical regions of the world, such as South and Central America, Southeast Asia, and Africa, where they are considered the “queen of fruits”. Nevertheless, the leading producer by far is India, with an annual production of nearly 30,000,000 tonnes. Indonesia ranks second with almost 3,500,000 tonnes.
Mango is not only juicy and delicious, but its health benefits are truly sensational. It owes its great reputation to valuable nutrients, including vitamin C, fibre, polyphenols, and provitamin A from carotenoids. It not only strengthens the immune system, but also supports a healthy gut flora.
Use:

Storage:
Mango should not be stored in the refrigerator for a long time, as it is a bit too cold for its tropical origin. Prolonged cold can affect its taste and aroma. Simply store at room temperature and place in the refrigerator for a maximum of 1–2 hours before consumption.
