Edenia Roasted Eggplants

At any time of the year, Edenia baked eggplants are full of flavor.
Baked, cleaned and frozen quickly, they naturally retain their vitamins and nutrients.
They are wonderful for the famous eggplant salad, for zacusca, stew or even in stew.

Defrost them in the refrigerator about 4 hours before preparation.

Edenia vegetables are cleaned, carefully sorted and frozen quickly within a few hours of harvesting, thus considerably reducing the loss of vitamins and nutrients.

Preparation recommendation:

Pot:

Add the frozen product to a pot of boiling water and leave on medium heat for 6-8 minutes from when the water starts to boil again.

Pan:

Add the frozen product to a hot pan and stir constantly over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.

Microwave:

Remove the frozen product from the bag and place it in a heat-resistant container with a lid, add 2-3 tablespoons of water, put the lid on and place the container in the microwave oven at 850 W. Heat for 3-4 minutes, stop the microwave to stir and heat again for another 3-4 minutes. After removing the product from the microwave, wait 1 minute before removing the lid. Stir before serving. Do not refreeze after defrosting!
