Therapeutic indications.
Diclofenac, the active substance of the compound, belongs to the group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which are used to reduce inflammation and pain in the joints and muscles.
Dosage and method of administration.
Adults, adolescents and the elderly
Diclac is administered externally, in a thin layer, in 2-3 applications per day, to the affected area. To achieve cutaneous absorption of the gel, a light and prolonged massage is performed on the painful and/or inflamed area.
After each application, wash your hands thoroughly (except when the gel is used for osteoarthritis localized to the fingers).
Diclac can be applied in combination with iontophoresis. Diclac is applied to the negative pole (cathode) to promote skin penetration of the gel.
In the case of soft tissue trauma or abarticular rheumatism, the gel should not be used for more than 14 days, and in the case of pain from arthritis, for a period of more than 21 days except in strictly recommended cases.
Precautions.
Caution is required if you have bronchial asthma, hay fever, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, chronic obstructive respiratory diseases or chronic respiratory infections, a history of allergy to other medicines.
The product should only be applied to intact, healthy skin, without wounds or open lesions. It should not come into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes and should not be ingested. If a rash develops on the skin after applying the gel, you should stop using it.
