Composition
The active substances are:

Therapeutic indications
Faringosept Rapid contains amylmetacresol and 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol – both antiseptics – and lidocaine hydrochloride – a local anesthetic for the throat.
Indicated for the local relief of sore throat symptoms in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
If you do not feel better or feel worse after 2 days, you should consult a doctor.
Contraindications/Warnings
You should inform your doctor if:
- You have bronchial asthma.
- Your symptoms do not improve after two days or you have fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, or a skin rash.
Dosage and administration
Always use exactly as your doctor has told you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended doses are as follows:
- Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: slowly dissolve one lozenge in the mouth, once every 2-3 hours, up to a maximum of 8 lozenges in a 24-hour period (maximum 4 lozenges for adolescents).
Do not let the medicine dissolve in the cheek pouch (between the cheek and teeth).

Driving and using machinery
Observe your response to this medicine. Taken at the recommended dose, this medicine should not affect your reactions or cause drowsiness. However, if you notice any of these effects, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.

Faringosept Rapid Honey and Lemon 2 mg/0.6 mg/1.2 mg lozenges are yellow, biconvex, cylindrical lozenges, 19 mm in diameter, with honey and lemon flavor.
