Preparation method

Start by preheating the oven to 200–205 °C. Prepare a small baking tray (approx. 30 cm × 20 cm) and line it with baking paper.

Peel the onion and garlic, then finely chop them. Slice the mushrooms thinly. Clean the chicken breast, then season it with salt and pepper on all sides. In a medium pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over high heat. When the oil is hot, add the chicken breast and fry it for 4–5 minutes on each side. After frying, transfer the chicken to the prepared tray and bake it in the oven for 17–18 minutes.

In the same pan where you fried the chicken, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil. Add the onion, garlic, mushrooms, and gnocchi, then sauté everything for 7–8 minutes over medium heat. Then pour in 300 ml of chicken broth and 125 ml of cooking cream. Add oregano and thyme, then let the sauce simmer over medium heat for 8–9 minutes, until it starts to thicken.
