Bring a large pot of water and salt to a boil. When the water boils, add the whole wheat spaghetti and cook according to package instructions (approximately 14-15 minutes). Before draining, reserve about 200 ml of the pasta water.

Meanwhile, prepare the remaining ingredients: peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Roughly chop the fresh parsley. Finely grate the Parmesan. Wash the zucchini and, using a peeler, cut the skin and part of the flesh into long strips (like noodles). Cut the central part with seeds into small cubes of approximately 1 cm.

In a spacious pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and zucchini cubes and sauté for 2 minutes.
