In a spacious pot, heat the olive oil. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for about 1 minute.

Add the kohlrabi and parsley root, peeled and diced. Sauté the vegetables for another minute, stirring occasionally.

Pour in the vegetable broth, add the ground cumin, salt, and pepper. Let the soup simmer until the vegetables are tender and soft.

Chef's tip

For a more intense flavor, you can add a little ground nutmeg to the soup along with the cream.
