Red Currants box

The small berries grow in clusters on stems and are at their best when left to ripen on the plant. Currants range in color from deep dark purple (black currants) to brilliant ruby red to an almost translucent white.

Uses:
They are most often eaten fresh. They are also added to pancakes, cakes or buns, are suitable for fruit cocktails, salads and, of course, they should not be missing in the composition of pies.

Storage:
Keep fresh currants in the refrigerator for up to two days.
