- 100 g of wholemeal baguette
- 100 g of light cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon of green chives (finely chopped)
- 1 pinch of chili powder
- 50 g of smoked salmon fillet
- 30 g of red onion (sliced into rings)
- 1 handful of fresh arugula
- 1 pinch of table salt
- 1 pinch of ground black pepper

Cut the wholemeal baguette in half lengthwise. In a small bowl, place the cottage cheese and mash it gently with a fork to achieve a finer consistency.

Add the chopped chives, salt, pepper, and chili powder (optional) to the cottage cheese and mix well. Spread the resulting mixture on the bottom half of the baguette. Arrange the smoked salmon slices, red onion rings, and fresh arugula on top, then cover with the other half of the baguette.
Chef's tip
For extra flavor, you can lightly toast the baguette before spreading the cheese mixture.
