Preparation method

Preparing the loaf

Preheat the oven to 175°C (top-bottom heat). Grease a loaf pan with butter and dust it with a little flour.

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks with granulated sugar and vanilla sugar until you get a light-colored and airy foam.

In another bowl, mix the flour with baking powder and salt.

Chef's tip

For optimal results, ensure eggs are at room temperature before starting preparation.

If the loaf starts to brown too much on top before it's cooked through, cover it with a piece of baking paper.
