Preparation method
Grease a flat baking tray with a little oil and preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients (oat flakes, almonds, sugar, spices, and salt), except for the cranberries. Add the apple puree, honey, and the rest of the oil, then mix well with a large spoon until everything is homogenized. Pressing movements on the bottom and sides of the bowl are more effective than simple stirring.
Spread the sticky mixture in a thin layer on the baking tray and place it in the oven. If using the convection function, reduce the temperature to 150 degrees. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Halfway through, start stirring the granola regularly, every 5 minutes. When the granola turns golden and is no longer sticky, take out a small sample and let it cool. If it's crispy after cooling, it's ready. Be careful, the line between well-baked and burnt is very fine, so be vigilant towards the end.
