Preparation method
Preparing the fruit and the grill
Fill an aluminum tray (approximately 500 ml) with berries. Sprinkle 50 g of the granulated sugar over them (adjust according to the acidity of the fruit) and place the tray on the grill or on a grate over the fire.
Preparing the dough and baking
While the fruit is heating, prepare the crumble topping: mix the flour with the remaining 15 g of sugar and the cold butter cut into cubes. Quickly knead with your fingertips until you get a crumbly texture. Optionally, you can add a little cinnamon or ground almonds.
Sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruit in the tray and continue grilling for about 10 minutes, until the fruit releases its juices and the topping turns golden. Monitor the dessert, as the process can be faster over an open flame.
Chef's tip
You will need a heat-resistant aluminum tray for grilling.
