Preparation method

All ingredients must be at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 170°C with fan.

Melt the butter, let it cool slightly, and stir in a tablespoon of honey. Sift the flour together with the cocoa and baking powder, then add the salt. Chop the walnuts and the three types of chocolate (dark, milk, and white) into small pieces (if not using chocolate chips).

Beat the eggs together with the sugar for 5 minutes, until you get a light-colored and dense foam. While continuously mixing, pour the melted and cooled butter with honey in a thin stream. Add all dry ingredients and milk, then mix briefly until everything is combined into a dense dough.

Chef's tip

For optimal results, make sure all ingredients are at room temperature before you begin. If you don't have chocolate chips, you can finely chop quality chocolate bars.
