Preparing the Crust

Preheat the oven to 180–185 °C. Prepare a baking tray (approx. 20 cm × 30 cm) and line it with baking paper.

In a large bowl, mix the spelt flour, almond drink, melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla essence, and baking powder until you get a homogeneous batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared tray and bake for 30–35 minutes at 180–185 °C.
Chef's tip
For an even more intense flavor, you can lightly toast the coconut in a dry pan before sprinkling it over the cake.
