
Taco Salad with Homemade Tortilla Chips

Preparation method
In a small bowl, mix the sour cream with crushed garlic, lime juice, and half of the chopped cilantro. Add 4-6 finely chopped jalapeno slices (to taste). Season with salt and pepper, then chill the sauce in the refrigerator.
Cut the cherry tomatoes in halves or quarters. Mix them with finely chopped red onion, drizzle with a little olive oil, and add the remaining chopped cilantro. Season with salt and pepper.
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and cut the flesh into cubes. Drizzle with the remaining lime juice to prevent oxidation and season lightly.
Chef's tip
For extra flavor, you can also add a little drained black beans to the salad.
If you prefer a spicier version, leave the seeds in the jalapeno peppers.
