Preparing the Mixture

In a large bowl, mix the minced beef with the egg, sweet paprika, dried marjoram, Dijon mustard, breadcrumbs, and crushed garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

In a pan, heat one tablespoon of rapeseed oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for 8-10 minutes, until translucent.

Add the sautéed onion to the meat mixture and mix well. From the resulting mixture, form 6 meatballs of equal size.
Chef's tip
For even juicier meatballs, you can add a tablespoon of cold water to the mixture before shaping them. They are traditionally served with mustard and fresh bread.
